Angelo Robert Santamaria is vice president of global manufacturing operations at Oasys Water and an experienced manufacturing executive and former leader in the American semiconductor industry. Guiding a firm that produces forward-osmosis wastewater treatment technologies for American and Chinese industries, Angelo R. Santamaria has been integral to the establishment of manufacturing centers in Tijuana, Mexico. Further, his development of local supply chains has resulted in an 80 percent decrease in travel and overtime expenses and a 40 percent drop in production costs at the firm.
Before assuming his position at Oasys Water in 2014, he served as executive vice president of PanelClaw, a producer of commercial solar panel mounting systems. He has also served in executive positions at the Microsemi Corporation and AMSC, a division of American Superconductor, both leaders in semiconductor manufacturing.
Mr. Santamaria is an alumnus of Northeastern University where he earned a BS in electrical engineering and an MBA. Outside of his professional life he remains active in his community and contributes to local nonprofits and charitable foundations. He has previously contributed to the Jimmy Fund, which provides support to children and adults suffering from cancer.
