A graduate of Northeastern University with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering, Angelo Robert Santamaria went on to earn an MBA from the same university. Mr. Santamaria has leveraged his training to serve in numerous leadership positions at companies such as Oasys Water and American Superconductor. Active in charitable giving, Angelo R. Santamaria contributes to the Jimmy Fund.
The Jimmy Fund supports cancer care and research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. One of the ways individuals can contribute is by organizing golf fundraising events. The Jimmy Fund staff can help with planning and provide fundraising ideas and tips to find event sponsors.
The Jimmy Fund also helps golf clubs raise funds through its Clubs Fight Cancer program. Clubs can sponsor tournaments in honor of someone affected by cancer or include charitable gifts in registration fees for special events.
Clubs can also plan putting contests, organize golf marathons for their professional staff, or host silent auctions of donated items. To learn more about supporting the Jimmy Fund, visit www.jimmyfund.org.
